The gallery

The Gallery represents the culmination of the Little Bulgaria Center's incubation and gathering power, combined with ideas and development that foster continuity. In 2019, immediately after LBSC purchased the building, the beloved Chicago artists Jenny Petrov and Ralitsa Vladimirova set a goal to transform the former library. Together with numerous Bulgarian-American artists, they converted the space into a cultural hub. The gallery hosts exhibitions, poetry evenings, book launches, discussions, and various other events. These activities, along with artistic classes at the school, have contributed to the nurturing of a new generation of young talents.
