JANUARY 16, 2026

Dear Parents, Teachers, and Students,

School classes are held according to schedule. There are 2 weeks left until the end of the first term, so we ask you to bring your children regularly and on time, and if you have to be absent due to illness, competitions or other reasons, to notify the teachers. Attendance at classes is one of the most important factors for success in learning, so we give children the opportunity to "make up" the missed days or hours in other locations and shifts.

Below you will find additional announcements, updated by topics and events:

  • School discipline;
  • Seal of Biliteracy;
  • General meeting to elect additional members of the Parents Council;
  • Annual meeting with the leadership of the American University in Bulgaria;
  • Dance seminars;
  • Art exhibition "Fantasy and Reality" 2
DISCIPLINE

As you know, two weeks ago we received a complaint from Elk Grove High School about the condition of the men's restrooms. We have similar reports in Des Plaines. We urge you to take the time to talk to your children about these and other similar incidents of misconduct. We are also looking for male volunteers to take on some Saturday duty at Elk Grove High School. We also ask for your assistance with cell phones at school. Please convince your children not to bring them at all if possible. We, the teachers and volunteers, try to limit their use in class, but very often the children make the excuse that they are expecting a call or a message from you.
