We kindly remind you that March 27 and 28 (Friday and Saturday) are non-school days for the "Little Bulgaria" school in Des Plaines. These are the days scheduled for spring vacation there.

Early parliamentary elections on April 19

The current National Assembly has made changes to the Electoral Code and now we need to re-register the sections, which will be only 24 in the whole of America. We urge everyone who will vote to do so in advance so that there can be a large and comfortable section again at the "Little Bulgaria" Center. In the section selection field, you can select Des Plaines, "Little Bulgaria" Center.

Children's Recitation Contest "You Are Beautiful, Fatherland" On March 28, at 12:30 p.m., in the building of the "Small Bulgarian School", Elk Grove Village, the second edition of the Bulgarian poem recitation contest - "You Are Beautiful, Fatherland" will be held. The event is intended for children from 4 to 12 years old and is organized under the auspices of Mrs. Elka Ruskova, former Honorary Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in Seattle. Encourage your children to experience the rhythm and beauty of Bulgarian poetry!Recognition and awards await them! For registration: admin@mbuchicago.com.

International Reading Contest for 1st and 2nd Grades

We received an invitation to participate in the 10th International Reading Contest, which is organized by several European schools and begins on June 27 in Paris. The competition is intended for first and second grade students of Bulgarian Sunday schools. Let us be the first school from the USA to express a desire to participate. Attention - the deadline for registration is May 1. We will provide additional help with preparation for the children who register. Exhibition "Ladies Invite" 6

The annual exhibition of Bulgarian artists will be held on March 21 at 6:30 PM at the "Little Bulgaria" Center. Come and celebrate spring, art and beauty together!

Alternative therapies - seminar

Due to the great interest, the organizers of "Together for Health" will hold a seminar on March 21 at 5:30 PM at the "Little Bulgaria" Center. You will have the opportunity to learn more about how to relieve stress and restore harmony within yourself. More about the event in the attached flyer.
